ROCA - The Detailing Chamber

Set within a compact 3 x 5.2 metre footprint along Al Musalla Road, Dubai, the project reimagines the car detailing shop as an immersive spatial experience. A continuous envelope of faceted satin aluminum frames perforated pegboard niches that present products, fabrics, and scale model cars as curated instruments rather than merchandise. Above, a translucent acrylic ceiling rests like an artificial sky, while cool jewel toned accents glow quietly from within translucent bottles.
Two narrative walls (chemistry and craft) are anchored by a central counter and a portrait screen at the rear. Outside, a clean white facade with an animated LED display inserts itself into the warm, lived fabric of Deira, glowing softly from within at evening.

The result is a small but distinct project, where automotive design language becomes architecture and the everyday act of caring for a car is elevated into a quiet spatial ritual.
