The Cloud Mosque rises above the dense market fabric of Tirur, Kerala as a monolithic white sanctuary. Conceived as a pure geometric form floating above the chaos of the street below, the building separates the sacred from the everyday through mass, light, and material rather than ornament.
Skylights cut through the limestone body, drawing daylight deep into the prayer halls. Light descends slowly, filling the interior with a soft celestial quality that shifts through the day. The minaret reads as a single vertical slab, perforated at its crown, marking the building's presence against the Kerala sky without decoration.
The mosque sits above a commercial ground floor, embedded within the existing urban fabric. It does not erase its context. It rises from it.

Long Wall House is a minimalist stone villa in Casablanca, defined by a single continuous wall that establishes both boundary and identity.

Set within a compact urban site, the design turns inward. The wall holds the edge, allowing the interior to open into a sequence of light-filled spaces across three levels. Movement through the house becomes an experience of shadow, framed views, and quiet transitions.

Materiality is restrained. Stone, wood, and light work together to create depth without excess.

Rather than expanding outward, the project focuses on shaping an inner world. A calm, protected environment for everyday life.

A space is built. An experience is felt.

Designed by Layers Architecture, Villa Lucid reimagines contemporary living for an Emirati family who desired openness and connection. The ground floor unfolds in a U-shaped plan, drawing the backyard into the heart of the home, where family spaces seamlessly extend to the outdoors. Above, an L-shaped upper floor frames this courtyard, balancing privacy with transparency. The result is a modern villa defined by light, fluidity, and a living experience where architecture and landscape flow as one.

The Twilight Houses reimagine the Emirati villa as a lantern in the desert, blending privacy and openness, heritage and futurism. Centered on a courtyard, the homes weave living spaces, gardens, and retreats with fluid intimacy,

Two distinct villas, one shared spirit. Inner Sky reimagines the ancestral Kerala nalukettu for modern living, where each home turns inward to its own courtyard — a private fragment of the sky, an eternal breathing space. Arranged diagonally across a narrow gap, the villas stand in quiet dialogue: connected yet apart, united yet distinct, reflecting the bond of two brothers. Tradition and modernity converge here, where openness, light, and kinship define the architecture.

In a quiet lane in Kochi, Tropical Grid sets a clear position: that climate and modernity need not stand apart. A pale concrete frame, ordered and exposed, gives the building its discipline. Within each bay, a deep green metal eave folds outward to shade the verandah, slow the equatorial sun, and turn the monsoon into a soft rhythm along the seams.
The grid is the discipline. The eaves are the climate. Together, they are the building.
From the street, the canopies stack across the façade like folded leaves. Light arrives in grades. The verandah, that essential threshold, becomes the centre of every home, where plants spill from the edges and the rain is watched, not feared.
Unmistakably modern. Unmistakably of this place. A frame for the climate, and a grid for the city.

A home for an art-loving family. Designed not to impress, but to belong. Working within a compact floor plan, the brief called for warmth, restraint, and an interior that feels genuinely lived-in rather than styled.
The design draws from Wabi-Sabi philosophy. Translated here through a grounded palette of oak timber panelling, lime plaster walls, rattan cabinetry, and teal ceramic tile. Cultural objects anchor the space: Balinese carvings, brass vignettes, hand-embroidered textiles. Nothing is superfluous. Every element earns its place.
The result is a villa that is quiet, warm, and deeply human.

Set within a compact 3 x 5.2 metre footprint along Al Musalla Road, Dubai, the project reimagines the car detailing shop as an immersive spatial experience. A continuous envelope of faceted satin aluminum frames perforated pegboard niches that present products, fabrics, and scale model cars as curated instruments rather than merchandise. Above, a translucent acrylic ceiling rests like an artificial sky, while cool jewel toned accents glow quietly from within translucent bottles.
Two narrative walls (chemistry and craft) are anchored by a central counter and a portrait screen at the rear. Outside, a clean white facade with an animated LED display inserts itself into the warm, lived fabric of Deira, glowing softly from within at evening.

The result is a small but distinct project, where automotive design language becomes architecture and the everyday act of caring for a car is elevated into a quiet spatial ritual.
