The Underwater Pavilion
Layers Architecture is a Sharjah-based architecture and interior design studio working across Dubai, the UAE and the wider Middle East, founded by Ar. Shabeeb Mohammed and Ar. Abubacker Siddique, specializing in residential villas, cultural buildings, and commercial interiors
At Layers Architecture, every space tells a story. We design not just buildings but atmospheres, places you feel the moment you arrive. Each project unfolds like a composition of light, shadow, texture and rhythm, rooted in land, culture and memory.
Our architecture balances strength and softness, opening to nature while resonating with the city. Materials such as stone, wood and glass become voices of place and purpose. We craft courtyards touched by sunlight, walls that hold memory, and homes that breathe with time.
Most of all, our designs leave space for you. They are backdrops for life’s moments, inviting, personal and deeply felt.

About Us
Layers Architecture was founded on a simple idea: that every layer — of history, of culture, of material — shapes the way we experience space. Led by Ar. Shabeeb Mohammed and Ar. Abubacker Siddique, our practice bridges tradition and modernity across the Middle East & Asia.
We see design as a dialogue between earth and sky, memory and future. From intimate homes to cultural landmarks, we craft spaces that connect deeply with people and place.
